Why Sponsor Oils?

Unix shell is a successful tool with millions of users, so there isn't a single answer. Here are a few.

(1) As of 2022, we have real people to pay. Donations will be converted to working, open-source code!

(2) OSH is the most bash-compatible shell, by a mile. As of 2025, there's no doubt this can be "finished", but we need help with the remaining bits.
